These tools are tiny! I compulsively buy tools, and let me tell you, small ones usually aren't worth it. These changed my mind. Yes, they're small, but they aren't uncomfortable. The whole set fit perfectly in a small bag when I used them on a trip to a family reunion. They were a big hit! If only my airfare had been as cheap (free) as the shipping!

This is a beautiful display of high quality rainbow colored beads. They are well organized in their storage case and can be easily accessed for a quick project or stored out of way for a longer on going project. Great for eye hand coordination skills as well as creation of beautiful jewelry projects.

I bought this kit after I purchased the other 9 piece jewelry kit from Beadaholique. Even though it costs a bit more, it is well worth it. These handles are way more comfortable. While I am using these the hours just fly by and I dont realize how long I have been beading for because my hands never get tired or cramped. I love these tools and I love the versatility of each piece.

I am a beginning beader. I just started to make jewelry so I do not know a lot yet. But what I do know is that this set has made it a lot easier for me in my jewelry making. The tools are smaller and fit in my hand quite comfortably. I like the kit best because the tools stay organized and I know where each specific tool is when I first open it.

Our four year-old with attention difficulties received this book as a gift from his grandmother this year for Christmas! He was thrilled to cut out the pictures and tape the items together. He was proud of his creations and spent HOURS working with this book over a period of a few days with many different relatives. I hope the authors will create another one!

My son is about to turn 5 years old and he LOVES this book! It is excellent for helping him improve his cutting abilities. Each page holds a new creation that he can cut out (just rip that page out of the book when you want to work on it). For example there is a cat/pig mask (double sided design), curvy snake and finger puppets. There are also a few different animals that you can cut out all of the pieces (legs, arms, head etc) and them tape them all together at the end to make your dog. He is very proud of his creations! My son loves all of the fun projects and I love that he is getting a lot of experience with scissors. I keep the tape on hand so when he has trouble cutting a corner I can just tape the pieces together and he tries again. We also talk about the best way to cut something (rather than try to turn a tight corner, you can cut in from the other side of the paper). The book comes with a straight pair of scissors and a pair of jagged scissors. He thinks it is a lot of fun to use the jagged scissors. This book also has a couple projects that they can play with (like a horse head that you can tape to a gift wrapping tube).

BUY THIS BOOK!! That's the best advice I can give you if you need to keep young children totally and happily absorbed for hours and days on end! There are more than a dozen projects here, along with all the materials needed to create them. There's no need to purchase tape or glue -- it's all here. The illustrations are great, the instructions are very, very clear so that children will have no trouble at all working independently. What a wonderful fun craft book to develop creativity while having a fabulous time! I can't recommend it highly enough.

My granddaughter and I had lots of fun with this book. It encourages imagination and creativity.

We bring this book with us when we go out to restaurants. It's easily portable because of the pockets for the scissors. The scissors are kid-friendly but still need a little supervision because they're a little sharp. The book keeps my four-year-old entertained for quite a while. Definitely recommend it to kids who are 3.5yrs or older. I've purchased five of them, to give as birthday presents, too!

I bought this book with a companion book, and was very happy with both! This book (attention to the disappointed lady) is meant to give you a beginning pattern and to give you ideas and to inspire the creative process, which it did beautifully! I bought the basics and did a doll with 100% cotton face and body, dyed the fabric with Rit dye from the supermarket (tan) and used various fabrics and ribbons in a pink theme for the legs, arms and clothes. I only dyed the cotton lace, other than the tan parts. These are art dolls, and as the picture shows, are not your normal cloth doll. Look to McCalls pattern books for more simple and easy dolls, more conservative styles. These dolls can go 'deep' in the embellishment area. You do not have to follow all the directions! Be creative! It is your doll, and you will love her or him! I like just looking at the pictures! Great book, and Thank You Patti, and all the other ladies who contributed to the book.

This is an awesome book. I am a new dollmaker and one day my dolls will look like the ones in the book. For me, it has served as a great tutorial.

Book was ordered and paid for on April 5,2009 from vendor Patti Medaris Culea. Now it is May 9th, 2009 and I have not received the book. I contacted the seller on May 7th, 2009 and have as yet not heard from Ms. Culea as to the status of my book. My credit card was charged. Now I have to resolve this instead of enjoying my new book. Unique way of making dolls. Construct doll of Pima cotton (hard to find) Then dye it. The dolls are rather pretty and very colorful.

Having just taken a class on bead making I found this book excellent! it starts at the beginning and just working you thur all the things you can try. I just did my first sucessful raised dots on a bead. If your just learning I would reccomend this book, great pictures and instructions.

I have this book from my local library. I like to preview books from there sometimes prior to buying to see if it is what I want. And this one definitely is! Very comprehensive, well laid out, excellent illustrated instructions, beautiful work. It is a visual treat just to look at. You could actually have it as a coffee table book it's got such beautiful photography.

I took a beadmaking class almost a year ago and decided to start again. This book goes into great detail on how to make your first bead and add much detail, refreshing my memory quite well. I also like the author's tips on how to use items around the house to incorporate into bead work and how to make your own frit. The author is very detailed on each bead making tool, types of glass rods, types of gases to use, and other bead making techniques. There are also numerous colored pictures of glass beads also to give new and inventive ideas. Highly recommended to both the novice and intermediate glass bead maker.

Lots of helpful techniques for both the beginner and the experienced beadmaker. You wont be disappointed with this book...

This book is not only a guide how to make beads but it is allso a source of inspiration. When I don't know which bead to make I get this book and all kind of ideas pop up. It's clear and one can easily find the things one is looking for.
